I yearn for our
bodies to spill
out our truths
so we can taste
the divine pleasure
of our souls.

Today’s poem was inspired by the desire to be seen in life. I learned during my vision fast that our greatest fear is a frightened personality of our soul.
Interesting right?
Consider how often we visit our cave of darkness, especially when it comes to love. We are taken to these places, often unwillingly, as a way to control what cannot be contained- love. We shape a flavor of love into our lives throughout our unmentionable suffering.
Our desire to love chaos arises out of our own neglect. Consequently, this neglect ends up pouring over addictions in many forms. We live in a culture that encourages unhealthy love. It’s not that we don’t want it, but we don’t trust it, because we don’t trust ourselves.
This is a tough revelation, but one that carries value to opening our hearts for a more profound level of love. Commit to letting go of what does not serve you. We are able to love freely at those moments we dance with the divine pleasure of our souls.
