Over there, in the dark garden
of your wounds, lies an
untouched version
of yourself waiting
to be cared for. Allow
the vastness of your interior
world to open by tending to the
seeds of darkness that crave your light.

We all crave connection. We all want to feel seen and heard. This is why I write. When I go to low places, I tend to find the light within darkness by creating words that illuminate places I did not see before.
If I feel like this, I figured others must feel the same. By sharing my journey raw and unedited, I hope others can find the light too. This is how poetry ties us together.
Today, your challenge is to find a way to tend to your garden of wounds. Where can you find light in the areas you avoid?
Ask yourself this and flow with the first thing that comes to your heart:
If I listen to my heart about moving forward in life, it might say…
Let your heart speak. Dive deeper into the garden of your wounds. If you want to feel seen and heard in life, you first must discover how to do it for yourself.
